The Fallen Four, 15 years later.

15 years ago, Sergeant Mark Renninger, Officer Tina Griswold, Officer Ronald Owens, Officer Greg Richards were killed in the line of duty.  The world stopped in sorrow. 

It was considered to be the deadliest attack on American law enforcement since four police officers were killed eight months earlier in Oakland, California.

Nine children lost a parent that day.  Loved ones will never fully recover. 

More than one memorial now stands in testimony to the loss of these Fallen Four. Every year the Lakewood Police Department holds a blood drive and collects food and cash donations for the underprivileged during this time of year. 

Lakewood will never forget.
