One year ago today, the City of Lakewood discovered that a security breach had occurred in its servers, perhaps employees records, but the City will not comment. The hackers demand a ransom, but instead the City notified the affected individuals that a breach had occurred and advised the victims on the event.  

Records requests have not revealed additional information, aside from what can be revealed under privacy laws.
